“My friends…we have a serious situation here. I tell you this my friends because, well….you are my friends. The situation is dire my friends. You don’t need to know what this situation is specifically, my friends. Just let me tell you that if you don’t like something, anything! – Obama is responsible! That socialist, terrorist, tax-cutting, elitist man named Obama did it! He is the root of everything wrong in the minds of people like you…Joe Sixpack, Soccer Betty, and you, yes you Mr. and Miss Main Street USA. I am talking to you my friends. And if you vote for him my friends, the world will implode the second the official election results have been announced. Don’t attempt to disagree because you don’t know the situation my friends. You don’t need to. The old woman lived in a shoe. Is it nap time yet? God Bless You”. (Nobody actually used these words in pubic, that I am aware of. I made them up but they sure sound similar to the crap that spews from John McCain’s mouth.)
Do words similar to those above fit right in line with your political views? Do you think that the past eight years have been just wonderful under the leadership of President Bush? In your opinion…is Sara Palin just the breath of ‘real Main Street’ fresh air that McCain needs to convince the people of the United States to hire him as the leader of their country? Finally, do you have a McCain/Palin sign or bumber-sticker within pubic view? If you can answer yes to any of these questions (with a straight face of course) then please do the rest of the world a favor and stay home on election day and absolutely no early voting for you! You need to rest and evaluate your entire thinking process. Skip voting this year – as you can’t be of sound mind if you are thinking that four years of McCain wouldn’t be just like another four years of the most disastrous presidency in US history – Bush!
For the rest of you…those that do think Barack Obama is going to bring a positive (and desperately needed) change to the United States – get out and vote! Do it now! Get off your ass and vote! Vote early if possible! Convince others to vote too! Don’t think that this race is over (although it sends a chill up my spine to think that someone, anyone – can really think that McCain is a more desirable presidential candidate than Obama). Your vote does count and it’s needed to show that rest of the world that the United States is not filled with idiots! The people of the United States know that Bush was a mistake! McBush would be a mistake! This is what we need to prove to the world! We will not be fooled again!
Vote Barack Obama on November fourth! Don’t just do it to make this country a better place! Do it so that the rest of the world is a better place! Do It! Do It Now! VOTE!

1st Nader, Then No one, now Obama! Good choice “s”. Life is not a multiple choice test, as Barry will soon find out! Your stand and choices can’t change as you feel so they best represent perception (aka votes)! I wish him luck in his endeavors as the face of the free world (not leader). As for change I’ll believe when I see it, just another face talking out of the side of his mouth and saying what the people want to hear(also aka votes). Just another FAT CAT politician duping the country. Evident by his 1st hire! S.O.S. former Fanni Mae BOD and Clinton adviser, bringing in the same old political cronies that put this country in a tail spin is NOT CHANGE!!! Sorry!
Just a different point of view and me voicing it (aka America)!
Will we see you Xmas again?
JSM
okay…first of all who they hell is ‘Barry’? – and yes, my stand and choices can change, that is the great thing about the Internet – I can say what ever I want and change my mind with the push of a few more keys…I changed my mind about Nader because (unfortunately) we have a crappy 2-party system and I just didn’t want to add to the possibility that a vote for Nader would have taken one vote from Obama! I too agree that he (Obama) is most likely just like the rest of them but I also know that a vote for McCain would have meant that I am completely numb in the brain or just plain ignorant, or dead inside.
We’ll have to wait and see what Obama does, or doesn’t do…hopefully it can’t be any worse than the mounds of shit that the damn Republicans have buried us in!
What do you mean who the hell is Barry? That was his name in college, was it not? But Barrack sounds so much more attractive and new and since it “sounds” that way it must stand for change! Blah blah blah! Now you know the “ONLY” reason Barrack won the election is because of how bad the economy was at the time of election(and gotten worse since he’s been elected). Do I completely agree that Hugh Hefner(McCain) and his girl friend would have done much better, not sure, but was willing to at least take a chance on us not being “tested” Military wise, which will happen with Obama in office, rest assured. Also I figured wait 4 more years and maybe a real candidate would show up, because they will dig up dirt on Obama and he will fail this country(I hope not), he’s over his head and even worse abullet-god forbid – away from Biden. which in terms of equality is just as bad as a heart beat away from Palin. This whole mess the country is in is because “Big” government got out of control and way too greedy under Bush and Obama is all for “BIG Goverment” so I see no change just superficial banter coming from Obama or in other words yada yada yada, let’s tell them what they want to hear that will keep them quite until we divert our mistakes some where else, whether it’s war, economy or energy.
I don’t know if McCain could any better, but perception is reality and that’s not going to help Obama, Let’s start worrying about this country not others. Obama is a band aid and this country is in need of surgery!

I didn’t go to college with Obama so I can’t speak of his nickname – sorry! The reason I think Obama won the election is because the American people were sick and tired of having some Republican idiot run things! Really….McCain voted for Bush like 90% of the time correct? and Bush really did some damage – one doesn’t get called the worst president in American history for nothing! but McCain and Palin? hmmmm….what good could that team do? you have the ‘ancient maverick’ and the ‘dumbass’ – GO TEAM!
Now…since Obama hasn’t made any mistakes yet (not saying that he won’t) I don’t think it’s fair to imply that he will. And what makes you think that having McLame in office would have kept the terrorist from trying to take down the US? With that said, no, I do not side with terrorist but I do understand why some countries dislike the US so much – we take, take, take and don’t do anything good in return, unless you call giving out free pollution something ‘good’! But really who the hell would fear McCain – you could flick his heart with your pinky finger and poof – heart attack! and then what we have some complete moron in office? Republicans suck and that is where I stand!
Just remember this, Clinton jump started this depression because of his lack of thoroughness in thwarting terrorist attacks and following leads when he had the chance and he gave Mr. Bush a disguised hand to deal with that looked alot better than it really was. Now one of Clinton’s adviser’s is Obama’s chief of staff, so please be careful on who you say is deemed the worst President ever, because he may not have taken office yet! That may happen Jan 20th 09!
If name calling is the Democratic way, then as an Independent voter I will remain partyless.
Immature name calling sucks, that’s where I stand!!!
Does Democratic stand for: If we team up against the other party and call them names we are better!!!
Are you a Republican in disguise? I too vote for whom ever I want and to that Mr. Independent Voter I say – who says immature name calling sucks? I like it – come on are you suggesting that ‘McLame’ isn’t funny? Just a bit? I know that I giggled when I typed out the letters. Oh and that is correct this is my blog…so yes, name calling is fun – unless you are calling me names and then I will just delete your comments – ohhh, sounds like BIG GOVERNMENT – ahhhh, run away!
Let’s face it – the Clinton years were a breeze weren’t they? Things were nice and easy. Now here we are, wars going on all around us, economy crumbling, the richer have never been richer and Bush didn’t do a thing to cause any of it? That is interesting and yes you are correct Obama might just be the worst President in history… but, for now he isn’t so I will continue to make fun of Bush. He’s a really easy target!
so tell me Mr. Independent, who did you vote for?
and now I am thinking of names to call you….
Do you need a hug now?
No hugs from you, find a tree! LOL
Voted for McCain, probably because I’m prejudice! or I didn’t want Obama to win! Take your pick.
Politics in the woods a good concept you got going there. So far from the main stream of what is really going on you’re like the milk and cheese bearing animals that surround you: easily herded up and lead around by your nose. You’re so desperate for something new you don’t even realize there will be a different name on a wooden stake in your front yard in 3.5 years, and you standing behind it with your 2.5 kids and an angry determined look on your face STILL demanding change, which was all promise but no substance.
“Wandering aimlessly for change”, the new Dem. logo! HAHAHAHAHA Just tell us it’s coming and we’ll believe you. Nothing but a bunch of lemmings! Sorry I tried to avoid the name calling, it slipped.
There are bleeding heart liberals and there will be broken hearted Democrats!
I’ve got a shoulder for you!
Voted for McCain…now it all makes sense. I feel for you, having such warped view of life and it might be because you haven’t ventured far from MA. I, as your friend McCain likes to boast – have been all around the world and from that I have learned that the only people on this planet aren’t just Americans. Americans like to think and act as if they are the only people in existence – which is just plain ignorance, as is being prejudice (which I hope you were kidding about)!
I didn’t vote for Obama because of his chant for change either…I voted for Obama because I knew that it would help keep the Republicans out of office, plain and simple, and that in itself will bring change. Yes, I was “desperate for someone new”, me and the vast majority of the people in this country. You voted for McCain for what reason? So we could have another four years of going down the tubes? another four years of endless, senseless war, and economic down slides? another four years of senseless gibberish from some old “do anything for the rich”, war mongering, oil grubbing friend of Dick Cheney’s? I don’t think so.
oh, and yes…we will be coming home from xmas! I will borrow your shoulder than!
