The month of September brought some great opportunities for photography in and around Vermont.  This month’s Things I Saw Photo Gallery contains 30 unique photographs shot and edited by me.  Check it out!

The Things I Saw Photo Gallery project began January 7, 2009.  Since then I have taken one photograph every day and posted it on McKennedy.org.  At the end of each month (or the beginning of the next month) I post a gallery of the entire month’s worth of photos.

Description: The last day of September and the fall colors are really kicking in here in Vermont.  This photograph was taken while driving.  It was shot while holding the camera (somewhat) steady keeps the distant road in focus while using a slow shutter speed to cause the blur on the sides.

Description: This photo was shot on the manual setting and I have the camera a good twist as the shutter remained open.  The image colors were brought out by adjusting the saturation and contrast.

Description: I was driving along on my way to work today on route 89  and the morning sky opened up casting an incredible light upon the highway.  I held my camera out the window and snapped this photograph of the road behind me.

Description: Excessive rain and the fact that our dirt road was re-surfaced a few days ago made for an interesting drive today.  It was like driving on ice!  The photograph above is of the mud dripping down the side of my car.
