Description: This photograph was the only picture I took today. I left work early due to a power outage and while stopped in traffic the wind picked up and nearly ripped the umbrella from this woman’s hands; of course I had my camera sitting on the front seat. Personally I like the colors of the umbrella.
About the project: The ‘Things I Saw’ photography project began January 7, 2008. Since then I have shot, edited and posted one photograph per day – every day. Description: The image above was formed from two different photographs; the pool and the masked girl. The photo of the pool has a saturation adjustment while the image of the mask was run through a series of filters including a zoom-in effect caused by the lens correction filter. The mask had an strip down the middle where the light reflected off the shiny surface of the mask. Using the clone stamp and the burn tool I filled in this area (quickly) but you can still see the remains of the reflection.
