Description: I stopped by Oakledge Park in Burlington, Vermont on my way home from work to see if I could find any good shots of the ice that usually builds up around the edges of Lake Champlain. This winter, being such a lame one (as far as snow accumulation and extreme cold goes), did not produce the ice I expected. I ended up strolling around and that’s when I stumbled upon one of the many fireplaces that dot the wooded area along the lake’s shore and I shot this photograph.
