This sixty-six second exposure photograph was create from the banks of the Winooski River off of Cochran Road in Richmond, Vermont. The cold wind coming off the water was quite painful on the hands. This is NOT an HDR composition (unlike most of my photos these days).

By the time I get out of work it’s dark outside so I have to resort to different techniques to feed my desire to create photographs. The first image, ‘By The Side Of The Road’ was a twenty minute exposure and the second was a fifteen. Both images were created on different days.
The temperature was just above thirty degrees. It was a warm, inviting morning in West Bolton, Vermont. Mill Brook was frozen but on the thaw. I had coffee. I had my tripod and camera.
