Name: Danny Goldstein Age: 33 (date of birth: 5 August 1976) Last seen: Sunday night, July 25, 2010. Description: white male, height 5’10”, weight 170 lbs, glasses, short brown/ grey hair, brown eyes, possibly depressed—history of (nonviolent) mental illness
Missing: Danny Goldstein
Vermont Man Missing
REWARD now offered for information leading to finding Danny.
Danny spoke with his parents Sunday night and then visited with a neighbor until 11 pm. He didn’t show up for work Monday morning. He seems to have left on foot, leaving behind his cell phone, keys, wallet, cigarettes, and car. He seemed quite depressed. He was looking forward to his family’s upcoming visit and playing with his little nephew. Danny is gentle, kind, funny, and loves playing the guitar and bluegrass music.
We think there is a strong likelihood that Danny is in the wilderness of Vermont. All hikers, especially near Rutland, please be on the lookout. He has probably been off medication for a while and may exhibit odd behavior but he is never violent or harmful, even when sick.

Metric: Josh Winstead, Joules Scott-Key, Emily Haines, James Shaw
Metric consists of vocalist Emily Haines (who also plays the synthesizer), guitarist James Shaw, bassist Josh Winstead and drummer Joules Scott-Key. I highly recommend checking out their other recordings dating back to 2001:
Visit ilovemetric.com and specifically their Store section, give them some of your hard-earned (or not so hard-earned, it really doesn’t matter) cash as they kick-ass musically of course!
West Bolton Skiing (click for larger view)
I took my tape-measure out to the West Bolton Golf Course (map) yesterday and I saw exactly 6 inches of snow on the ground which means… time to dust off the skies, pull the cobwebs out of the boots, grab the poles and get out onto that snow! It’s official…cross-country ski season has begun!
Yesterday was day one for skiing! I bundled up (it was 10 degrees out yesterday!) and hopped onto the West Bolton Golf Course (visit website) to enjoy the fresh snow and the picturesque mountainous backdrop of the Jericho/West Bolton area. There was a thin layer of crust on the ground but once a track was laid down and skied over a few times it began to get nice and slippery. With legs burning (cross-country skiing is a great way to find out what shape you are in) and chest cavity rising and lowering rapidly I skied for about an hour by the time I was finished (out of breath, sweaty, and tired) the sun was setting and I began thinking about just how lucky I am to live in such an area and I made my way home feeling invigorated.
Additionaly, I can’t wait until there is are a few more feet of snow on the ground so I can get up into the hills to explore the Libby’s Look and Preston Pond areas. The skiing up there takes you to some advanced sections as well as a nice easy ski on the VAST trail system. I can walk out my door and be at Libby’s in twenty minutes. I can walk out my back door with my ski gear and be skiing in one minute. Gotta love living in Vermont!
The folks at the West Bolton Golf Club are nice enough to allow Nordic skiing on the course (when there is at least 6 inches of snow) so I would like to thank them by asking you to visit their website and make it a point of planning a game of golf (or many games of golf!) when it gets warm again! Happy skiing!

Artist Rendition of Dylan McKennedy
I don’t have any photos (yet) to post but as soon as I do I will share them! So get off your ass Keith and send me some photos/video or anything!
To the right is a guess as to what Dylan acutualy might look like in a year or so. Also, I am not 100% certain that it will be Dylan McKennedy, Dylan Giusti McKennedy, Dylan McKennedy Giusti, or Dylan Giusit (and hopefully I am spelling Rene’s last name correctly!) or possibly one of those really cool people with only 1 name - you know like Bob Dylan (people know him as just ‘Dylan’).
I just got off the phone with Keith…get this, it’s weird! At 4:27 am this morning I posted this comment of Keith’s FaceBook page. Dylan was born at 4:28am – how crazy is that?
