Description: I have an old Super 8 movie projector in the basement and decided to project the light onto a face (just so happens that I didn’t have any models hanging around so I decided to do a self portrait (2nd one in the past 7 days – here is the other)) to see what kind of imagery I could create. This shot was setup on a tripod, with the projector about 3 feet from my face and there was quite a bit of post production processing on this one.

Description: The camera was set up on a tripod about a foot and a half away from a plastic container filled with water. I poured water from a cup and snapped a photo as the poured water hit the stagnent.

Description: This black and white photograph of two children standing by a wooden fence went through several stages of post processing.

Description: This photograph was shot at a man-made (made by this man) waterfall stream by my house.

Description: This is a tennis ball. I swear that it is. This photograph was shot from a few inches away with a flash. The image had the contrast and saturation jacked way up and the image was converted to black and white. To finish it off I adjusted the levels to give that abstract look.

Description: This photograph was shot while looking out my backdoor. The image was converted to black and white, and has many different adjustments giving it that antique/damaged look. The frayed edges of the image were created by using a splatter brush and a blur filter.
About the project: The ‘Things I Saw’ photography project began January 7, 2008. Since then I have shot, edited and posted one photograph per day – every day.
