Description: Two toy soldiers perched in front of a photograph I took few years ago. There is also a piece of wood laying between the toys and the camera lens. The image was converted to black and white.

About the project: The ‘Things I Saw’ photography project began January 7, 2008. Since then I have shot, edited and posted one photograph per day – every day. Description: This one was shot in my living room against a dark wall. The shutter speed was a bit slow and luckily the subject decided to keep his face still while moving the rest of his body. The image was converted to black and white and has some other minor adjustments.

Description: These fingers were pressed up against a wall and photographed under a flood light at a about four inches away. The image was heavily processed to bring out the cracks and crevices and in the end converted to black and white.

Description: This image was captured behind Speeder and Earls (on Pine Street) in Burlington, Vermont. I think that the wire sculptures (left hand side, below the bottom half) caught my eye. The photograph was turned into to black and white and then inverted, followed by some heavy contrast adjustments.
